This is an amazing opportunity if you want a career in Structural Engineering, and want to be part of an award winning, highly respected Structural Engineering Practice, who will train you in all aspects of the Junior Revit Technician role, supporting and progressing you upwards in your career.

Due to rapid growth of their client portfolio, which presents challenging, varied and extraordinary schemes, for both commercial and residential clients, the Directors have identified that they have scope to offer this Junior Revit Technician position to someone who has a real passion to get their career in Structural Engineering going.

You will have a minimum of 5 GCSE's, at at least 4, or C, which must include Maths, and have, or be working towards a relevant engineering BTEC, such as Structural Engineering or Construction and the Built Environment, as well as knowledge of Revit.

You will have passion, ambition, be highly motivated, want to continue learning and dedicate yourself to productivity, both personally and professionally and always strive for excellence.

Using your knowledge of Revit, you will support a Project Engineer by producing AutodeskRevit models, details and technical drawings, going forwards, you will learn how to:

  • Produce reinforcement drawings and establish appropriate foundation types by interpreting site investigation reports, as well as foundation depths in line with NHBC design manuals
  • Produce steel connection details using Autodesk and Revit
  • Check drawings against preliminary sketches for accuracy, seeing how a design could be refined and/or improved
  • Develop presentation skills
