We are currently recruiting a CNC Machinist for a local manufacturer in Witney.
Reporting directly to the Machine Shop Manager, the successful candidate will work within a small team and be responsible for the manufacture of manifolds, filter components and associated tooling.
Requirements:
- You will have experience of reading and understanding Engineering drawings and tolerances
- The ability to produce high quality close tolerance machined components
- Be proficient in a range of measuring equipment and inspection techniques
- Previous experience of working in a Production environment
- Mechanically minded with a familiarity with quality procedures
- A 38 hour week – 3pm – 1am, Mondays to Thursdays
We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with:
- HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
- Previous experience in setting and operating multi axis CNC machines.
- Experience of machining Duplex steels, carbon steels and aluminium alloys.
