Electronics TechnicianLocation: Eynsham, OxfordshireSalary: £25,000 - £32,000 per annumSelect Recruitment Specialists is hiring on behalf of our client, a dynamic consultancy business specialising in bespoke electronic control systems.About the Company:Our client is a small consultancy business dedicated to creating bespoke electronic control systems of medium to high technology levels. They are passionate about innovation and strive for excellence in everything they do.Role Overview:As an Electronics Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting internal R&D prototype builds, product assembly, and testing. You will be working with PCBAs supplied by CEMs, as well as engaging in small-volume, in-house full builds.Key Responsibilities:
  • Precision hand soldering of surface mount components, including fine-pitch TQFP and 0402.
  • PCB solder pasting, component hand-placement, and operation of a reflow oven.
  • Familiarity with IPC-610 soldering and inspection standards (preferable).
  • Basic electronic testing using multimeters and similar equipment.
  • Assembly of PCBAs into enclosures and other manual product assembly tasks.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a small team.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and provide accurate estimates.
  • Experience with stock control, including production kitting and assessing stock requirements.
  • Previous exposure to ISO 9000 Quality Management System (desired, not essential).
