Our client, a leading LED lighting manufacturing company, is currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Electronics Engineer to join their design team. Operating in the aerospace sector, our client designs, engineers, and manufactures LED lights for aerospace, maritime, and the contract market. With a passion for producing high-quality products, they design from concept to completion, enhancing functional and visual settings.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and customising new and existing products
  • Electronic design for aerospace lighting (0-28v)
  • Electronic prototyping of designs using in-house routers
  • CANBus (CAN/CANFD) / PWM control design
  • Electronic fault finding, testing, and repair
  • Producing and checking product documentation
  • Following and contributing to the development of the best practice guidelines and AS9100
  • Working collaboratively with the design team, guiding, mentoring, and advising others when required


Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Electronics engineering degree
  • Ability to manage your own workload and work to deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in report collating and writing


Preferable Skills and Expertise:

  • Experience in hazardous area systems, automotive, aerospace, or medical industries
  • Experience working within a manufacturing company
  • KiCAD experience
