We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Analyst for an opportunity within a well established team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing analytical support to the Accounting & Finance Department.

Description

The Finance Analyst will have a wide range of duties including:

  • Providing financial analysis and support to the Accounting & Finance Department
  • Building and maintaining financial models to predict future outcomes
  • Presenting financial information to non-financial staff and stakeholders
  • Business Partnering with a wide range of leadership teams
  • Supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting processes including the analysis and forecast across multiple areas of the P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Presenting results and obtain commentary for variances from Senior Leadership.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to financial processes
  • Supporting the wider Finance team on the timely completion of month end including preparing and sending relevant month end reports to various parties across the business
  • You will also support the annual cost setting process and be able to analyse, interpret and concisely present large volumes of financial data to both Finance and non-Finance leaders and stakeholders
  • Assisting with ad hoc financial projects and analyses
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards

Profile

A successful 'Finance Analyst' should have:

  • An educational background in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • Ideally be studying towards or qualified in ACCA/CIMA
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Passionate about business partnering and process improvements
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Experience with financial modelling and forecasting
  • A solid understanding of financial regulations and standards
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work
