Accounts Payable Manager | Stanton Harcourt | Consultancy business | £50-55,000 + bonus, benefits

Following a period of reorganisation, this dynamic Consultancy business in Stanton Harcourt is looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Manager to join its busy finance department. The role is to look after an AP team of eight, reporting to the Finance Manager.

Key tasks include:

  • Co-managing the Accounts Payable team, ensuring that all processes are procedures and adhered to whilst managing your team.

  • Managing, supervising and coaching the AP team

  • Processing or ensuring the team processes suppliers invoices and credit notes.

  • Ensuring correct allocation of supplier invoices and ensuring the ageing reports are complete

  • Managing supplier reconciliations

  • Managing the accounts payable mailbox and addressing vendor queries

  • Managing the employee expense process

  • Involved in the payment of supplier runs and working closely with our Treasury team to ensure compliance with the Group's payments policy

  • Maintaining supplier data in Netsuite.

  • Preparing month end reports

What you'll need to succeed;

  • You will be a highly motivated leader with a positive personality and tenacity, you have solid experience of leading a team in a finance function.

  • Previous Experience of managing Accounts Payable functions

  • At least 3 years of relevant senior accounts payable management experience

  • Experience in managing teams of 5- 10 team members

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (vlookups, Sumif, pivots, macros)

  • Experience in accounting software , preferably NetSuite

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to influence all levels of the organisation

  • Resilient, determined, willing to "go the extra mile"

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
