A well-established and respected financial planning firm based on the outskirts of Witney, Oxfordshire (OX29) is seeking a Paraplanner to join their team. This independent firm has a reputation for delivering exceptional service and expert advice, helping clients achieve meaningful financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside Financial Planners, attending client meetings and acting as the first point of contact for client queries.
- Undertake technical research, compile financial planning recommendations, and implement solutions.
- Analyse client data, prepare cash flow analyses and develop comprehensive financial strategies.
- Manage and maintain investment portfolios, including benchmarking, rebalancing, and ongoing monitoring.
- Liaise with product providers and other third parties to ensure client solutions are implemented effectively.
- Ensure all regulatory and compliance standards are met.
- Collaborate with administrative support teams to deliver a seamless client experience
Skills & Experience Required
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a paraplanning role.
- Diploma in Financial Planning (Dip PFS) - highly desirable.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial planning areas including investment portfolio management, pensions, taxation, protection, and estate planning.
- Proficiency in cash flow modelling
- Experience working with high-net-worth clients or complex financial planning cases is a plus.
- Strong relationship-building skills and a client-focused, collaborative approach.
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong technical, mathematical, and technology skills.
- Ability to effectively manage work flow and prioritise tasks.
