The Burford Recruitment Company are working with an established, independent Financial Planning firm based in Witney, Oxfordshire. With a reputation for delivering tailored financial advice to a wide range of clients, they take pride in their client-centric approach, helping individuals achieve their financial goals. Due to growth, they are looking for a motivated and ambitious Trainee Financial Adviser to join their experienced team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to develop their career in financial planning, working alongside the Director and managing an existing book of business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director with client meetings, including preparation of financial reports and documentation.
  • Conduct research on financial products and solutions to meet client needs.
  • Develop a solid understanding of financial planning, products, and markets.
  • Build long-lasting client relationships through effective communication and excellent service.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in a Paraplanning or Client Support role for a financial planning firm.
  • Hold the CII Level 4 Diploma Regulated Financial Planning or close to completing it.
  • Knowledge of financial products, investment strategies, and retirement planning.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • A client-centric approach with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
