A small, friendly primary school in Witney, Oxfordshire is on the hunt for a Behaviour Mentor/ Teaching Assistant to support our amazing kids aged 5 to 11. These little legends face some big challenges, from anxiety and school refusal to learning differences like dyslexia. But with the right support, they can achieve incredible things - and that's where you come in.

The Role:

  • Title: Behaviour Mentor / Teaching Assistant Extraordinaire
  • Start Date: ASAP - we're excited to meet you!
  • Location: Witney, Oxfordshire
  • Pay: £83.50 -£90 per day - enough for daily snacks and a superhero cape
  • Environment: Alternative education setting with a compassionate, child-first approach
  • Extras: Get up close and personal with real-life therapists and psychologists. No capes, but you can definitely shadow them!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Boosting social skills and emotional well-being - because a little encouragement goes a long way!
  • Helping children understand that "great minds think differently" and there's no "one size fits all" when it comes to learning.
  • Supporting kids who've had tough experiences; they might come to us feeling low or disengaged, but you'll help them find their spark.
  • Using restorative practices to make the world (or at least our school) a better place.

What We're Looking For:

  • Super Resilience: You might not have a superhero suit, but you're tough enough to handle anything thrown your way (even if it's just a temper tantrum).
