Rapier Employment is seeking a Class 1 driver for a day shift position with a well-established family-run national haulier in Witney.
The pay rate is £16.00 per hour for daytime hours (06:00-20:00) and £17.50 per hour for nighttime hours (20:00-06:00).
Candidates must have a full UK Licence (Cat C+E), a CPC Card, a Digi Card, and at least 12 months of Class 1 driving experience.
Applicants should also have no more than 9 points on their driving licence.

Job role:Class 1 driver - days

Shift start:Start times vary between05:00 - 07:00
Working days:Monday- Friday

Responsibilitiesinclude, but arenot limited to:

Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, record information internally and report any defects
Ensuring the load is fully strapped down ready to be delivered
Delivering the product to customer sites ensuring delivery instructions are followed
Hauling palletised flat-packed goods to various locations across the UK

Requirements:

Full UK Licence (Cat C+E)
CPC Card
Digi Card
12 months Class 1 experience
No more than 9 points on your licence

** Must have at least 12 months of HGV Class 1 driving experience, along with no more than 9 points on your licence. **
