We're looking for a Materials, Planning & Logistics Co-ordinator to work for a local manufacturing company based in West Oxfordshire.
You will provide support for all aspects of the logistics function, from planning to dispatch, including supporting business processes, across all sites, ensuring materials and consumables arrive on site within the agreed time frame and for the quantities agreed.
You will ensure the correct packaging and multiples are co-ordinated from the site and be responsible for ensuring day to day control of standard logistics processes in regard to schedules, materials and packaging availability.
Specific duties will include:
. Handle customer schedules, entering all requirements onto the system
. Placing purchase orders with suppliers
. Carry out daily progress checks for parts and report any issues
. Expedite material deliveries to ensure availability to Production
. Support monthly inventory count activities and reporting
. Work closely with other depts to support the development of the MP&L function via continuous improvement
You will have strong customer relationship skills, excellent attention to detail and have previous experience working within a MP&L team. Working knowledge of IATF16949 and an appreciation of ISO14001 is desirable.
You will be a definite team player with the ability to manage and prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines.
