Human Resources Coordinator - Permanent Opportunity 
  • Location: West Oxfordshire
  • Job Type: Full-time or Part-time (minimum 3 days per week) (100% on-site)
  • Salary: £30-35,000 per annum depending on experience, plus benefits 

Reed HR are partnering with a leading Oxfordshire business as they seek a professional and motivated Human Resources Coordinator to join their growing HR team. This role is crucial for providing HR advice, payroll, and administrative services across the organisation. You will support the HR Director in driving improvements in people processes and cultivating high-performing teams.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Processing payroll and maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Provide generalist HR guidance and support to Managers and Employees.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures throughout the business.
  • Assist with and on occasion lead investigation meetings, taking minutes for various HR meetings.
  • Support the recruitment process, from creating job descriptions to issuing contracts.
  • Conduct Right to Work checks and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees.
  • Manage the leaver process and maintain training and appraisal records.
  • Support HR projects related to growth, culture, engagement, wellbeing, and employer branding.
  • Promote and manage the employee discount platforms.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Demonstrable experience in a Generalist HR position.
  • Demonstrable experience of processing payroll. 
  • CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of UK Employment legislation and GDPR implications for HR.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level minimum), Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Strong numerical skills and a logical approach to data review.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive, team player, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills.
