HR Manager VacancyWitney, Oxfordshire£55,000-£60,000Office basedOur client, an expanding organisation in the industrial sector is looking to recruit an experienced HR professional for a stand alone role reporting directly into the CEO. Located just outside Witney, Oxfordshire this is an office based role. This is an exciting opportunity to drive HR forward to the next level.Role responsibilities

  • Work in close partnership with senior management to prepare and implement HR strategy
  • Maintain, Update and Improve Company Policies & core values
  • Champion employee engagement, collaborating closely with managers and staff to develop action plans and communicate them to employees.
  • Management of all HR related files/records, ensuring compliance with GDPR
  • Act as a member of the company's leadership team, offering HR expertise and coaching to Directors while taking responsibility for HR actions.
  • Advise managers and provide guidance on HR policy and procedures on various issues, including absence management, contractual matters, legislative compliance, and employee relations
  • Keep up to date with UK employment legislation
  • Lead or assist in more complex employee relation activities, including disciplinary, grievance, and capability hearings
  • Ensure HR guidance documents, policies, and procedures are current and well-organised & developed with updates issued.
  • Create and implement an annual training program, optimising training content and meeting mandatory requirements
  • Management of payroll and pension, including HMRC communications and Year End
  • Manage the company's recruitment process to identify and recruit the best candidates.
  • Assist as a member of the Management Team for ISO and H&S compliance

  • Previous HR experience at a senior level.
  • Strong leadership with a proven ability to drive cultural transformation.
  • Strong team player.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Inquisitive, with an open-minded approach.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation.
  • Resilient, capable of driving change despite challenges.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
