JOB TITLE: Talent Acquisition Specialist UK

START DATE: ASAP

END DATE: 6 Month Contract

PAY RATE: £60k Per Annum

LOCATION: Witney (Hybrid post training)

The Client

Specialising in the emerging market of Infectious diseases, our client has a large product area in HIV, Malaria and Hepatitis lateral flow testing. The biggest regions that they are working within are in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe.

The Project

After continued growth in 2023. Our client is looking to bring in a TA Specialist who will be supporting multiple departments (commercial, corporate, manufacturing) driving full recruitment cycles from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop a complete understanding of each client business objectives and strategy
  • Consult with hiring managers and Business HR to understand skill requirements, background and experience needed for each requisition
  • Work with hiring managers to develop a comprehensive internal and external recruitment strategy for each requirement, setting and manages expectations
  • Identification and execution of appropriate sourcing medium to attract suitable candidates, in addition to fully utilising all internal resources.
  • Championing introduction of and use of Social, Digital and Mobile media as recruitment tools.
  • Source, screen and manage candidates throughout the process providing feedback at all stages
  • Ensure structured/competency based interview process is followed for each hiring requirement, running assessment centre' as and when required.
  • Salary negotiation and management of the offer process ensures contracts are issued in line with company procedure.
  • Conduct reference checks
  • Creating effective relationships with new and existing recruitment agencies, maintaining PSL to control recruitment costs, ensuring fixed terms and conditions are in place
  • Ensure ATS (Workday) is maintained providing reporting as and when required.
  • Implement and manage the company's Employee Referral Policy
  • Identifies and resolves issues proactively
  • Where necessary Preparation of recruitment budget for each business comprising media strategy, referrals, recruitment agencies, recruitment fairs, websites, recruitment merchandising, social media, direct sourcing, etc.

The Candidate

  • University degree or equivalent
  • Fluent English language skills are required, another language would be an asset
  • Strong track record of direct sourcing and recruitment for internal positions
  • Strong assessment skills to assess candidate's business capabilities, technical background and key behaviours
  • Strong skills in driving and owning the TA process ensure candidate and client management satisfaction.
  • SHL level A&B preferred.
  • Professional, accountable, high energy and collaborative team player
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure and changing environment
  • Proven track record with managing PSL suppliers
  • Competitive drive, strong work ethic. Motivation to learn, grow and succeed
  • Ability to build professional relations across all levels of the business, including business acumen with Senior Executives
