IT Infrastructure Engineer

Our Client is seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis, focusing on server management, networking, and IT security. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and enhancing their IT infrastructure to ensure high levels of performance and security across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, and manage server environments, ensuring optimal uptime and performance.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network systems, including LAN, WAN, and VPN.
  • Ensuring
  • Monitor and enhance IT security protocols, protecting systems from vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Support the IT infrastructure lifecycle, including upgrades and replacements.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to improve operational efficiency and implement best practices.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure, including hands-on experience with servers, networks, and security protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of network configurations, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Proficiency in security best practices and tools, ensuring data protection and compliance.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft Server certifications are a plus.
