Alma Personnel have great pleasure in partnering with their Witney based client to recruit for a hard working Stores Person to be based out of their warehouse handling materials and controlling stock movement.

You will join a very busy team of warehouse staff who all have a can do attitude with dedication and commitment

Working in both goods in and out, you will have varied tasks for both departments. Whilst in goods in mode, you will be responsible for parts that are required to be procured from suppliers and highlight and lengthy lead times that may be an issue to your line manager.

Place orders on the internal computer system with suppliers

Receive and unload goods (FLT advantage)

Collection of parts may be required from suppliers when needed.

Verify all goods with identifier and marry up with delivery notes and PO placed

Any issues with delivery, highlight to manager and any items short highlight with suppliers

Identify goods for specific projects so that they enter production in a timely manner

Allocate and stock all goods after receiving

ID any parts that require return to supplier

In goods out mode you will be responsible for picking parts for specific projects for factory and and spares to be sent out to customers as per picking list and marry the list with the requirements for each job

Obtain weight and dimensions for shipping orders

Load vehicles for delivery and ensure that goods are actually delivered to the customer

Register all parts that are issued to service engineers, you own the parts until they are signed over

Identify any stock issues via the system whilst maintaining min and max stock levels so not to run out of stock

Weekly stock count

Working hours 40 hours, Mon to Fri 8am to 4.30pm

£20k to 26K full time perm
