My client is an established Designer and Manufacturer of Aircraft refuelling vehicle and the relevant support equipment. They are currently looking to hire a Workshop Engineer to bolster their office team in Witney, Oxfordshire. This role would suit someone from a Workshop Assembly background. A HGV Fitting or an armed forces background would be ideal, along with being based within a commutable distance of Witney.
Workshop Engineer Job Overview- Assembling all Mechanical components on Aircraft refuelling vehicles
- Undertaking fabrication work as required
- Working from Engineering drawings and schematics to ensure vehicles are built to spec
- Working on a range of Hydraulic and / or Pneumatic systems
- Undertaking inspection and repair work as required
- Proficient in a wide range of Hand and Power Tools
- Experience in Pneumatic and / or Hydraulic systems
- Able to interpret Engineering date such as drawings and schematics
- Basic fabrication skills
- Any experience with aircraft refuelling vehicles / systems would be highly beneficial
- Based within a commutable distance of Witney
- £15.00 - £16.50 per hour DOE
- 40 hours a week, 07:30 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday, 07:30 - 14:00 Friday
- 31 days holiday inclusive of public holidays
