We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Administrator to work 21 hours per week (3 days) supporting a Payroll Manager in a varied, hybrid role. This position offers a fantastic opportunity with flexible working arrangements. As Payroll Administrator, you will provide excellent customer service to all users of the finance function, acting as the first point of contact for your assigned transaction types. You'll ensure all transactions are processed promptly, generating accurate reports for your areas of responsibility and highlighting any anomalies. Key duties include problem-solving, managing queries within agreed timescales, and extracting and analysing data from the Finance and HR systems. All tasks should adhere to current finance regulations and company policies. Additionally, you'll contribute to the smooth operation of payroll activities. Primary Responsibilities:* Supporting the Payroll Manager with accurate data input into the payroll system * Maintaining employee personnel and payroll records * Keeping sickness records up to date * Assisting with payroll processing for new starters * Collating and entering overtime, sleep-ins, and casual hours * Acting as the primary contact for employee payroll queries and resolving them efficiently * Processing third-party deductions, such as Court Orders, and liaising with external providers as required * General administrative tasks, including filing, posting payslips, and issuing P45s Skills Required:* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a variety of audiences * Ability to work well under pressure and maintain strong attention to detail * Self-motivated and customer-focused approach * Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills * Ability to build positive working relationships with both internal and external partners If you are organised, detail-focused, and enjoy working in a supportive environment, we encourage you to apply.
