ASD Support Worker

A fantastic school in Witney, Oxfordshire are looking to welcome an enthusiastic and passionate individual to the team as a 1-1 ASD Support Worker. Working as an ASD support Worker, you will be supporting students on a 1-1 basis who benefit from consistent guidance throughout the school day. The school provide Primary education to children aged 4 - 11 years and want to take on a confident individual to assist them in guiding them.

Working as an ASD Support Worker, you will have a positive, can-do mindset and a genuine interest in helping students reach their potential. You will get to participate in team meetings with behaviour analysts and on-site psychologists to ensure the students get quality education plans tailored to their individual needs. The successful ASD Support Worker will receive mentorship and training in order to support the students to the fullest extent. You will develop skills regarding identifying and observing behaviour throughout the school day. The school believe in adapting learning material to the children's needs, with a main focus on encouraging self-confidence and independence.
