Academics LTD is working closely with a fantastic SEN school in Reading that provides exceptional, individualized support for children aged 5 to 18 with Autism and associated learning challenges. The school is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate ASD Specialist to join their dedicated team.

Requirements for the ASD Specialist Role:

  • Solid understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and associated conditions
  • Ability to support children with a range of challenges, including communication difficulties, sensory processing disorders, and behavioural regulation
  • Experience in helping students develop social interaction and life skills
  • A strong interest in Autism support or Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Patient, calm, and able to adapt to the diverse needs of children with ASD

This position is ideal for Psychology graduates, aspiring Therapists, or anyone interested in a career in Mental Health or Special Education. If you're looking to build experience in ASD support, this is the perfect role. Relevant qualifications, such as a Degree or Level 3 qualifications in SEN or Autism support, are highly valued, but experience is not mandatory.

Whether you are aiming to work in Education, Teaching, or Mental Health, this ASD Specialist role will enable you to develop essential skills by working directly with children who face communication, sensory, and behavioral challenges.
