Your new roleThe Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for technical leadership of a small but growing team of software developers who are creating these new software systems and tools. There is a mix of near-real-time software for data acquisition systems and non-real-time software for data processing systems and analytical tools.What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience of working with desktop/cloud data processing and analysis systems, typically using Python, Java, C# or C++.
  • Experience of cloud platforms and architecture (e.g. AWS/Azure).
  • Strong skills in Agile software development practices.
  • Skills in CI/CD technologies and practices.
  • Experience working with real time or near real time sensing hardware, communication devices and data acquisition systems, typically using C++, C#, .NET, Java.
  • Strong experience in collaborative working practices and tools.
  • Experience of near-real time processing in Windows environments.
