About the PRU Assistant Role
  • Individual Support: You'll provide personalised support to students who struggle with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges, many of whom also have other Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). These are children who need someone to believe in them.
  • Positive Impact: Working one-on-one or in small groups, you'll be there to help students find success-building their confidence step by step. Your presence can be the turning point they need to feel understood, valued, and capable.
  • Full time role: get a great opportunity to work as a PRU Assistant Monday - Friday (term time only) with these amazing students, having the time to understand each and every student in the PRU and start them on their journey back to the mainstream classroom.
