We are working with a vibrant company based in Witney who are recruiting a Part Time Shipping Coordinator.
This role offers 16 hours per week (10am-2pm Monday to Thursday) - Permanent Part Time
As Shipping Coordinator, you will work closely with the freight forwarding partners to get the best rates and service. You will be responsible for controlling and tracking the movement of goods in and out of the company including all shipping documentation both importing and exporting including the creation of commercial invoices and clearing goods into the country.
Key Responsibilities include
- Creation of all required customs documentation
- Booking and tracking the shipment of goods both for import and export
- Arranging domestic shipments and collections from suppliers.
- Handling customs clearance requests for incoming shipments.
- Monitoring freight forwarder performance
- Ensuring that shipping methods comply with rules and regulations and any applicable laws.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in a similar role, along with high attention to detail and a good understanding of INCOTERMS
