Strategic Sourcing Manager | F1 | AUTOMOTIVE | AEROSPACE | Witney | £65,000pa plus benefits:  A leading high-tech manufacturer based in the West Oxfordshire area is looking to recruit a Strategic Sourcing Manager to develop and implement improved strategic sourcing policies to assist with cost reduction activity. You will be negotiating cost-effective contracts with key suppliers and supporting the sourcing team as necessary. The Strategic Sourcing Manager will evaluate sourcing procedures and presenting improvement strategies to senior management for review and approval. You will analyse and calculate procurement costs and developing cost reduction strategies. You will then negotiate contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality.The Strategic Sourcing Manager role would fit anyone with the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, logistics, or in a related field.
  • Skills in MS Office applications including presentation skills at a senior level.
  • A master’s degree in business or specialization in advanced procurement management will be advantageous.
  • At least five years' procurement experience in a related industry ideally Motorsport, Aerospace Defence or medical.
  • Proficiency in use of ERP/MRP systems such as SAP.
  • Superb leadership and communication skills.
  • Advanced ability to collaborate and negotiate.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Willingness to travel to develop, promote, and maintain strategic sourcing relationships.
