On a day-to-day basis the Mould Tool SetterTechnician will carry out the routine tool setting, maintenance and running of the production lines and equipment. The Mould Tool SetterTechnician key duties include:

Responsible for ensuring all tooling and machinery is regularly inspected in line with maintenance requirements
Monitor performance of all tooling and machinery, carrying out continuous improvements to deliver gains in output and efficiency.
Identify potential and actual production issues and report all electrical and mechanical breakdowns and issues to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager

The successful Mould Tool SetterTechnician will need the following experience and skills:

Minimum 5 years in a machine setting or production line operation.
Experience of working with a high-volume manufacturing area with complex products.
Experience of working in an environment which can become pressurised in line with production targets.
Able to demonstrate personal success and leadership in the achievement of continuous, part or process improvement activities against a clear set of objectives.
Proven track record of working with internal teams to ensure that production and quality targets are met.
