Warehouse Operative

• Job Type: Full-time, Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm (1 hour lunch)
• Location: On Site
• Salary: From £24,000 per year

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our team. This role involves handling and packing shipments, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organised, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Efficiently handle and pack incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Organise and maintain inventory, keeping track of stock levels and conducting regular stock checks.
• Prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring proper packaging and labelling.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and responsibly.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
• Assist with occasional customer service duties, including answering inquiries and processing orders.

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred, but not essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
• Good physical fitness, as the role involves lifting and moving heavy items.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems.
