Vanta Staffing High Wycombe are searching for a Machine Operator to work for a local company just outside of Wycombe. The successful Machine Operator will be creating ducting from sheets of metal, dealing with lifting, picking and packing of orders and possibly some driving of deliveries too. You must have a full UK driving licence.
The main duties of the Machine Operator will be:
Operating metalworking equipment - both automated and manual.
Equipment will include learning to run the machines.
Other duties may involve working on picking/packing ducting orders.
Follow all Quality Control guidelines set by the Company.
Follow the requirements of the Company's ISO Procedures.
Follow the Company's Health and Safety Policy, work instructions & safe systems of work.
The key requirements of the Machine Operator are:
Reliable.
Physically fit and healthy.
Must have good understanding of warehouse operations.
Level 2 Numerate & Literate or equivalent.
Computer literacy an advantage.
To be highly motivated, to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
To work in a methodical and tidy manner.
To be able to understand and follow instructions from a supervisor.
· Must have a driving licence.
· Other duties as requires including grinding and cutting pipe work.
· Fork Lift License would be good but not essential
Full training will be given.
