Are you an experienced Estates Manager with a surveying background, looking for a chance to manage a prestigious 3,000-acre rural estate offering a company vehicle, generous benefits, and an exceptional pension plan?

This is a unique opportunity to join a historic rural estate, set across 3,000 acres, featuring a renowned golf course, a captivating safari park, stunning gardens, and several remarkable properties, all of which contribute to its exceptional appeal. You'll become part of an estate steeped in heritage and natural beauty, offering an exciting and dynamic work environment.

In this role, you will work Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm, carrying out stock condition surveys, overseeing in-house teams and contractors, and raising work orders via Qube. You'll be responsible for diagnosing building defects, specifying repairs, managing contractors, and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards. Other duties include quality assurance inspections, budget management, tender preparation, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will also provide estimates, maintain records, and be on-call as part of a rota.

The Role:

  • Conduct stock condition surveys, manage contractors, and raise work orders using Qube.
  • Diagnose building defects, specify repairs, and oversee project management and quality assurance.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance, provide estimates, and keep records up to date.

The Person:

  • Working towards CIOB or RICS Membership.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, CAD, Qube, and MS Project.
  • Proven experience in managing and maintaining historic buildings.
