  • Accounts preparation, reporting and other projects as needed.
  • Planning, execution and completion of audits reporting to managers and partners.
  • Planning and co-ordinating with clients, including liaising with relevant departments within the firm.
  • Building relationships and communicating with clients and related third parties.
  • Management / leading on-site audit teams and ensuring tasks are completed with minimal supervision, within budget and to tight deadlines.
  • Business development and helping to promote the client's services to existing clients as well as to prospects.
  • Supervision and development of trainees.

The Person:

  • Fully exam-qualified or part qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent).
  • Recent experience in Audit and Assurance within an accountancy practice in the UK
  • Experience leading external audit assignments from planning to completion
  • Experience preparing accounts in accordance with UK GAAP
