Your new companyYour new job will be based at an international corporation within the logistics and distribution business. They are seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team at the head office in Woking. Established over 40 years ago, they are an innovative organisation who strive for the highest standards and commercial sustainability. Due to increased workload, they are looking to recruit an additional team member for a 6-month contract, up to £70k.Your new roleYou will be working closely with the Finance Director and wider team to ensure that all financial reporting is fulfilled to a high standard.Key duties will involve:- Preparation of statutory accounts.- Working papers and trial balance.- External reporting in line with IFRS.- Audit and year-end statutory requirements- Partnering with various stakeholders both internal and external.
What you'll need to succeedIn addition to your professional qualifications (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/equivalent), you'll have excellent communication and organisational skills. Ideally, you will have come from an audit background in practice alongside recent experience in a medium to large organisation, be proficient in using SAP and have a good working knowledge of IFRS. You'll be used to contract work and be available to hit the ground running on short notice. You must be able to commute to the Woking area.What you'll get in returnYou'll receive a salary of up to £70k, free parking, excellent pension and 31 days annual leave (including BH).
