Sonic Summary

Our client is seeking a qualified Management Accountant with a passion for Finance, Entertainment, Media, and Live events.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a management accountant role and possess strong Excel skills, as well as familiarity with accounting systems like Sage X3 and SEI.
Key responsibilities include preparing monthly management accounts, managing the cash flow process, and being the main contact for the year-end audit.
The ideal candidate will have a dynamic and enthusiastic attitude, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Experience with a accounting systems, ideally Sage X3, SEI & Sage payroll. A strong attention to detail. Preparation of monthly management accounts
Direct ownership of the financial reporting
Preparation and reconciling of balance sheets
Key contact for the year end Audit process
Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts and assist in the review of management accounts versus budgets/reforecasts
Manage the cash flow process
Prepare monthly journals
Prepare VAT returns
Review weekly debtors
Identifying areas of potential cost savings and revenue opportunities

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
A minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a management accountant with management responsibilities
Ideally knowledge of or experience in the entertainment sector
Strong Excel skills, Sage X3 and SEI
building relationships with key stakeholders
Dynamic, enthusiastic, self-starter and willing to go the extra distance to make a difference
