Description
Accounts Assistant - Woking
- Invoice Preparation & Issuance:
- Generate accurate and timely invoices and posting of shipments in Business central based on sales orders.
- Ensure all billing data is correct, including pricing, discounts, taxes, and payment terms.
- Address any discrepancies in billing or payment terms.
- Reconciliation:
- Reconcile invoices against sales orders, shipments and inbounds from our warehouse.
- Investigate discrepancies between billed amounts and payments, resolving issues promptly.
- Customer Communication:
- Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding billing inquiries, disputes, or payment issues.
- Resolve customer billing issues professionally and ensure clear communication regarding payment terms and invoice details.
- Follow up on overdue payments and assist with collections when necessary.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare detailed reports on invoicing.
- Provide recommendations to improve billing efficiency and reduce errors.
- Assist in monthly and year-end financial closing processes.
- Compliance and Policies:
- Adhere to company policies, accounting principles, and legal requirements related to billing and accounts receivable.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting for financial audits.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales, customer fulfilment, and logistics teams to ensure smooth billing and collections processes.
- Billing Process Improvement:
- Continuously assess and improve billing systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Suggest and implement automation tools to enhance the billing process.
