Sonic Summary

NHB is seeking an Assistant Accountant for a 3-month contract position, with the potential for a permanent role thereafter.
The responsibilities include weekly bank reconciliations for multi-currency accounts and managing cash book entries.
Candidates should have experience in maintaining Fixed Assets registers and processing Prepayments & Accruals.
The position offers a salary of £30,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
A minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience is required, and the office is conveniently located near Woking station with hybrid working options.

NHB are representing this software company in their search for an Assistant Accountant to complete a 3 month contact position with the possiblity for a permananet position at the end of the 3 months.

Responsbilities include

Weekly bank reconciliations for multi-currency accounts - multiple accounts across IDBS subsidiaries.
Corporate Current Account Reconciliation
Managing cash book entries and resolving any reconciliation issues.
Maintain full Fixed Assets register and reconcile to general ledger, including Depreciation entries, disposals and reports.
Maintain and process Prepayments & Accruals for Global entities.
Assist Quarterly VAT return preparation.
