Horticultural Supervisor

A horticultural business in Woking, Surrey seek a professional, hands-on, working Supervisor to exceed client expectations.

Duties include:

  • Providing effective leadership
  • Depot housekeeping including vans and equipment
  • Ensure works are completed on-time and are to specification
  • Be an effective assistant to management
  • Understand and complete contract documentation
  • Supervise employees, identifying workloads and allocating tasks, ensuring work standards are maintained to specification
  • Responsible for the quality of service within your operation
  • Horticultural operations such as planting, pruning and maintenance of trees and shrubs
  • Grounds maintenance including grass and hedge cutting, raking, edging, weeding, sweeping, litter picking and leaf collection
  • Exceptional customer experience and development of strong, profitable long-term relationships with both customers and clients
  • Championing and representation of Company philosophies and values to customers and clients
  • Effective deployment of all Company Health and Safety procedures
  • Effective communication with colleagues
  • Wearing the correct corporate clothing and ensuring vehicles and machinery are professionally presented and sites are kept clean and tidy
  • To be efficient and organised, working to company systems, timesheets, works control tick sheets, rotas and absence request forms to ensure contractual performance obligations are met
