Our client is looking for an AAT qualified or ACCA/ACA Qualified OR Part Qualified Experienced bookkeeper to join their team. This role is office-based and requires you to be in the office on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

You will be responsible for maintaining financial records on QuickBooks, processing accounts payable and receivable, and managing general ledger entries and management reporting.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be proficient in using accounting software, specifically QuickBooks. You must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, raising sales invoices and inputting bills.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Chase overdue debtors
  • Reconcile bank account
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Manage general ledger entries and ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, clients and suppliers

Experience and Skills Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in using accounting QuickBooks
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written in English
