Are you a great communicator with a fun personality and the ability to connect with young people and staff? Our client is looking for an efficient, hard working Assistant Caretaker to has the ability to carry out a full range of maintenance tasks.

Your role will consist of the following:

  • Assist with the management of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks e.g. changing fuses and minor repairs
  • Ensure the grounds are safe, clean and tidy.
  • Assisting with 'Goods Inwards’ deliveries
  • Capture data and CCTV images for security purposes.

Skills required:

  • An affinity with young people and appreciation of the challenges and behaviour associated.
  • Knowledge of CCTV, Fire Alarm and Intruder Alarm systems ideal
  • Hold a full driving licence
  • Positive 'can do attitude’, reliable and punctual
  • Physical ability to carry out manual handling tasks
