Client Details

Our client are a leading multinational company in the gas industry. The Business Improvement Manager will oversee the O+S productivity strategy, manage the pipeline and ideation process, and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement. Additionally, they will drive cross-functional initiatives, including performance tracking, reporting systems, and SHEQ and people-focused plans.

Description

  • Strategic Planning: Lead and collaborate with the Operations & Services (O+S) team to shape the future direction of operations and business activities.
  • Project Management: Oversee and drive projects that enhance the O+S function, from initiation to implementation, using LEAN Six-Sigma and agile methodologies to ensure efficient execution.
  • Identifying Opportunities: Work with management to pinpoint areas for improvement, develop business cases, and explore relevant technologies to enhance operations, sometimes extending to other business units.
  • Digitalisation & Automation: Streamline processes by identifying and implementing digital and automation solutions, acting as a key link between O+S, IT, and digital teams for complex projects.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track business performance through data and reporting, addressing variances, sharing insights, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Productivity Management: Ensure O+S meets productivity targets by working with central teams, managing initiatives, and leading productivity tool submissions.

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven ability to lead and manage projects, preferably using LEAN or agile methods.
  • Skilled in identifying and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong digital mindset with experience in developing solutions using tools like Power Automate, Power Apps, or Nintex.
  • Effective at influencing, collaborating, and driving change.
  • Experience in developing business or investment cases is a plus.
  • Comfortable handling technical information across operations, supply chain, and engineering.
