Driver Hire is recruiting for a Full Time Van Driver (Cat B) for a specialist wholesale patisserie supplies company. Our client makes luxury desserts for the hotel, restaurant, airline, event and up-market retail trades.

It is a privately owned and run business, with the owner being an award-winning ptissier (pastry chef).

Your role would be to carefully deliver these delicate desserts and pastries to a range of prestigious clients mostly around London.

Shifts typically start at 2am. Generally working just 6 hours per night. Often only between 6 and 15 drops per shift.

You will hold a key for some premises.

Long wheel based van. Previous London delivery experience is preferred.

**** Benefits, Hours And Pay of the night time van driver ****

£14 per hour (equates to c.£26,200 per annum)
Generally only 6 hours per night
6 nights per week (Sunday to Friday)
28 days paid holiday

**** Responsibilities of the Cat B Van Driver ****

Perform daily vehicle inspection
Assist with loading the vehicle and planning your route
Expect to deliver between 6 and 15 drops per night
Ensure all delivery paperwork is accurately completed and signed
Interact with other staff and clients in a friendly and professional manner
Follow all rules of the road and safe working practices
Drive a refrigerated Transit van

Possess the flexibility to go the extra mile and have a full commitment to providing excellent customer service

Be comfortable driving in London
