We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Carpentry Site Supervisor to lead a team of 10 skilled carpenters on a large new build housing project in Woking, Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company renowned for its high-quality workmanship and commitment to its employees.
**Responsibilities:**
* Oversee all aspects of carpentry work on site, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and deadlines.
* Manage a team of 10 carpenters, providing clear direction, guidance, motivation and support.
* Maintain a safe and efficient working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
* Monitor progress and ensure quality standards are consistently met.
* Collaborate with site management and other trades.
* Resolve any issues or problems that arise on site promptly and efficiently.
* Provide daily updates on progress and any potential challenges.
**Requirements:**
* Proven experience as a Supervisor on large residential new build projects.
* Excellent knowledge of all aspects of carpentry.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve targets.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in using hand and power tools.
* CSCS card and relevant carpentry qualifications.
* A strong commitment to safety and quality.
