Key Responsibilities
As a Business Development Manager, you will take full ownership of the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing. Your key tasks will include:
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth research into target organizations to uncover their strategic challenges, market trends, and opportunities.
- Solution Selling: Use your understanding of the companys innovative solutions to build meaningful client relationships and effectively communicate ROI.
- Executive Engagement: Present and demonstrate solutions to senior executives, building strong connections with key decision-makers across organizations.
- Negotiation: Manage complex negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for both clients and the company.
What We're Looking For
To excel in this role, youll need:
- A few years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with a proven record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Expertise in tender management and delivery.
- Strong sales skills across the entire cycle: cold calling, demonstrations, qualification, proposals, negotiations, and closing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a driven, goal-oriented mindset.
- Experience using CRM systems, ideally Salesforce.
- A solid understanding of public sector sales is highly advantageous.
- The ability to work under pressure while maintaining a diligent and consistent work ethic.
- Confidence engaging with C-level executives and navigating multi-level sales processes.
