Role Overview:
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business sales. You will be responsible for managing an entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals with C-level executives. This is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial role that requires a proactive and innovative approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full sales cycle, from cold calling to closing deals
- Conduct in-depth research to understand industry challenges and identify potential solutions
- Effectively communicate the unique value proposition of the company's solutions
- Present and demonstrate solutions to C-level executives
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and negotiate complex agreements
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- The ideal candidate will be a tenacious sales professional seeking to advance their career with a market-leading tech firm. Experience in selling software solutions is preferred, along with a proven track record of sales success.
Essential Criteria:
- 1-2+ years of sales experience (SaaS solutions desirable, perfect would be someone that has sold websites - but other sectors would also considered, medical being a good alternative.
- Proven successful sales experience, your CV will show your accolades
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a desire to close deals
- Ability to manage an entire sales cycle efficiently
- Resilience under pressure with a consistent work ethic
- Outgoing personality with a proactive and determined attitude alongside good listening skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems and professional business communication
- Understanding of selling to the public sector is highly advantageous
