Design Engineer

Are you a structural design engineer with a 2/3 years' experience in the marine and offshore engineering industry, eager to develop your skills and contribute to innovative projects?

This is a great opportunity for a talented individual to support design projects, using your knowledge of design software such as Rhinoceros, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Inventor. Your ability to collaborate and assist in the delivery of high-quality designs will be crucial in ensuring client satisfaction and project success.

The company provides expert services in marine and offshore projects, including marine analysis, floating wind system design, structural design, naval architecture, and project management. With over 200 global projects, they offer specialised consultancy and engineering solutions, delivering innovative, reliable, and cost-effective results.

This role involves supporting the structural design process, working with the Design Manager's specifications. You will coordinate design activities, develop strategies, and ensure regulatory compliance. With your experience, you'll contribute to advanced design concepts, manage progress reports, and oversee handover reviews, while collaborating with the team and growing through mentorship.

The role:

  • Assist with structural design development and subcontractor oversight.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 2 years + design engineering experience
  • Design software such as AutoCAD and Rhinoceros
  • Degree and knowledge of structural calculations FEA
