Bennett & Game are proud to represent a leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy, who are currently seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join them in their rapidly growing Chichester office with a salary of £40k - £60k, hybrid working options and an excellent benefits package.

The Building Surveyor / Senior Building Surveyor will be working on projects across the residential, commercial, education, industrial and fire safety sectors and will be responsible for project delivery of these schemes from inception to completion.

The majority of their work will be project-based works, including contract administration and project management duties on mainly fire safety projects for their local authority, housing association and rights to manage clients. The work is not limited to this, is varied and part of a wider and strong project pipeline of industrial manufacturing, education and commercial projects which is the reason for the requirement!

Senior Building Surveyor Position Overview

  • Residential, Commercial, Education and Fire Safety projects.
  • Responsible for project delivery and project management from start to finish
  • Contract administration
  • Fire safety and fire risk assessment work on external walls
  • Schedules of work
  • Condition surveys
  • Professional services work (This would be occasionally and dependent on the preference of the surveyor, their experience and the pipeline of projects)

Senior Building Surveyor Position Requirements

  • MRICS Qualified or very close is essential.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years' experience with another consultancy or client side
  • Relevant degree or qualification in Building Surveying
  • Full driving licence
  • Able to commute to Chichester one day per week, minimum

Senior Building Surveyor Position Remuneration

  • Salary: £40k - £60k DOE (possibly more for a strong candidate)
