Day Shift

Location: Woking, Surrey

Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 plus production bonus and overtime

Our client is a well-established company located on the outskirts of Woking, Surrey. They are looking for a CNC Turner - Machinist Setter / Operator and Programmer. This is a full time, permanent position, 40 hours per week: Monday to Friday 07:30am to 4.00pm with 30 minute lunch break. There is plenty of overtime, excellent benefits including a production bonus.

CNC Turner - CNC Machinist Setter/ Operator/ Programmer candidate requirements:

  • You will be confident in using Mazak, Siemens or Fanuc controls and will be able to program, set and operate these machines.
  • Ideally your more recent experience will be of using a twin spindle lathe or sliding head lathes machine.
  • You are able to read and interpret engineering drawings enabling efficient programming, setting and manufacturing, to achieve a 'right first time’ product.
  • Some programming experience with ISO controls would be an advantage but training will be given to the right candidate.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with good practical application.
  • Highly motivated to improving productivity without compromise on quality.
  • Good communication, operational and organizational skills.
  • Well presented with a positive, proactive, and professional approach.
