CNC Turner Machinist Setter / Programmer

Location: Woking, Surrey

Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 plus manufacturing bonus and excellent benefits.

Our client is looking for an experienced CNC Turner and will be based at our clients Machine Shop near Woking. You will be working in prestigious surrounding with state-of-the-art machines with Mazak, Siemens and Fanuc controls.

We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner Machinist Setter / Programmer. Suitable candidates should have CNC Turner / Turning experience as well as good knowledge of materials and machining techniques.

This is a full-time, permanent position. 40 hours per week and the standard working hours are, Monday to Friday 07:30am to 4.00pm with 30 minutes lunch break.

Salary £35,000 to £45,000 plus manufacturing bonus and excellent benefits.

As CNC Turner Machinist Setter / Programmer you will be responsible for:

  • Programming, setting, and machining parts to a high standard.
  • Ensuring reliable, efficient processes are planned in advance of manufacture of new parts, for New Product Introduction.
  • Working on a variety of different metal components and different metals including aluminium, stainless steel and brass;
  • When working in the Turning section, you will work on several machines including Mazak mill/turn twin spindle/twin turret lathe and sliding head lathes.
  • Ensuring that all production targets are met.

Salary £35,000 t £45,000 plus excellent benefits that include:

  • Overtime available when agreed and authorised in advance at 1.5 times basic salary.
  • Additional production bonus (variable but approx. 3% - 4% basic salary payable monthly in arrears),
  • Aviva private pension scheme, in line with Government legislation and guidelines. Currently 5% employee contribution and 3% employer contribution.
  • BUPA, private medical insurance with minimal, monthly contributions (subject to 6 months satisfactory service);
