Our client is a UK-based specialist in providing bespoke underfloor heating solutions for both residential and commercial clients. Their focus is on delivering energy-efficient, high-performance systems that offer both comfort and cost-effectiveness. With a reputation for quality and customer satisfaction, they work closely with architects, builders, and homeowners to create custom heating solutions that meet the specific needs of each project.

On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for a highly organised Document Controller to join their team. The successful candidate will play an essential role in supporting the sales team, handling project documentation, managing quotations through bespoke software, and assisting with office and project management. This role will also involve creating layout drawings in AutoCAD; training will be provided for those who are new to the software.

Document Controller

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed quotations using bespoke software, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand project requirements and tailor quotations accordingly.
  • Manage and organise all project documentation, ensuring version control and compliance with internal standards.
  • Maintain a well-structured filing system for easy access and retrieval of project-related documents.
  • Provide direct support to the sales team, assisting with client communications and preparing necessary documents for presentations and proposals.
  • Respond to client enquiries and provide relevant project information as needed.
  • Oversee daily office operations, ensuring an organised and efficient working environment.
  • Manage office supplies, general administrative tasks, and team meeting coordination.
  • Assist the project team in tracking progress, coordinating with departments, and ensuring timelines are met.
  • Maintain clear project records and facilitate effective communication across teams.
  • Produce layout drawings in AutoCAD for client projects. Training will be provided if required.

Document Controller

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience in document management and project support within a technical or construction environment is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD is beneficial but not essential as training will be provided.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
