Nursery Assistant, Nursery Early Years Practitioner

Level 2, Level 3 or above

we can consider applicants who have nursery experience and are working towards an early years qualification.

We are currently looking for a Nursery Assistant and Practitioner, to join our beautiful little children's day nursery and pre-school in the heart of Woking.

We are a warm and friendly community setting with lots to offer and we value our dedicated and hard working staff and a family feel.

The Nursery Assistant and practitioner will be joining a welcoming fun team of committed early years assistants.

We value our practitioners and appreciate a work life balance and have full or part time opportunities.

We can offer a 3,4 or 5 day working week and discuss working hours/patterns.

We are open 8am until 6pm Monday - Friday.

Main duties and responsibilities of the Nursery Assistant / Practitioner:

• Most importantly, to have energy, enthusiasm, empathy, a sense of adventure and fun! :)
• Help with the planning, creative and fun opportunities according to childrens needs and interests to fulfil the requirements of the EYFS.Full training and support is provided for candidates looking to start their childcare career.
• To develop good strong relationships and communication with children parents/carers.
• Working creatively with children so they develop, learn and grow.
• Ensuring all children have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.

Key skills:

• Hold a relevant Early Years qualification equivalent to Level 2 or above. We can consider unqualified who have childcare experience and a passion to train and learn!
• Experience of working with the EYFS/Early years foundation stage.
• Experience of working with children in an early learning environment
• Good communications skills
• A team player :)
