An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join one of the country's leading HVAC Contractors. This will be a mobile role covering the area South West of the M25 and the surrounding region.

Ideal candidate location:
Woking / Reading or surrounding areas

The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background and hold electrical qualifications such as NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or maintenance and 18th edition as a minimum. A 2391 or testing qualification along with experience working on fire detection and alarm systems will also be highly beneficial.

This role will involve carrying out various tests, inspections and general maintenance works in commercial premises. Ideal experience includes prior work on: fire alarms, lighting, emergency lighting, PAT testing, door access systems. Training will be provided for some aspects.

Duties:

  • Support other technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.
  • Complete all necessary PPM's and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.
  • Prioritising and completing minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
  • Ensuring all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are always available and serviceable.
  • Although aligned to an area for the purpose of PPM completion there may be times that the Technician will be required to attend other sites within the cluster to carry out work.
  • Work with company and client colleagues to ensure laid-down standards of quality are always maintained.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop a good working relationship with client and colleagues.
  • Carry out all tasks in accordance with specific KPI's.
  • Monitor and update the Mercury system accurately ensuring live job updates from you and your team at all times.



Qualifications
NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations / parts 1 & 2
Or recognized apprenticeship equivalent
18th Edition
2391 or equivalent testing qualification

Salary / Package

Basic Salary - £37,440 (£18 per hour) to £39,520 (£19 per hour) dependent on experience
Paid Travel Time door to door
OT Rates
Call Out - 1 in 6 / 7 (retainer paid on top of salary)
23 days holiday (rising to 26 with length of service) plus 8 bank holidays
Company vehicle with private use and fuel card
