Purpose of the Role:
As a Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality products by following predefined test processes. Your expertise will help ensure our technologies are delivered effectively, efficiently, and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute test activities, ensuring adherence to specifications and cost-effectiveness.
  • Supervise and support test technicians, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Work autonomously, coordinating activities beyond your immediate area when necessary.
  • Propose process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency.
  • Conduct test activities during product manufacturing and provide electronics assembly inspection support.
  • Utilize standard test equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, multimeters) and troubleshoot electronic circuits to the component level.
  • Maintain manufacturing documentation for traceability and contribute to continuous improvement efforts in line with ISO9001 standards.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Strong GCSE grades or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • ONC, HNC, or equivalent qualification in an electronic discipline is essential.
  • Comprehensive understanding of relevant IPC standards and industry regulations.
  • Proven experience in a high-tech environment, demonstrating proficiency in testing processes.
  • Basic PC skills with excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement and a commitment to achieving high production standards.
