Job Title: Senior Technician

Department: Technical Services

Reports to: Technical Services Manager

Salary: Up to discussion - Depending on Experience

Role Overview

This Senior Technician role offers a diverse and largely independent position, primarily field-based, focused on delivering top-quality technical solutions and services.

Key Responsibilities

      Commission and set up specialist water treatment systems.

Conduct technical site assessments.

Develop site-specific method statements, technical reports, and commissioning checklists.

Diagnose faults and carry out repairs.

Oversee project management activities.

Provide practical, technical training to engineers and customers.

Support Sales and Operations teams as needed.

Assist other departments with technical queries and solutions.

Stay informed about industry developments to help maintain the company's competitive edge.

Required Qualifications and Experience

      Strong knowledge and experience with various water treatment equipment, including water softeners, UV systems, chlorine dioxide, and chemical dosing systems.

Comprehensive understanding of relevant technical standards such as HSG274 and ACoP L8.

Familiarity with water treatment chemistry.

Plumbing or electrical qualifications/experience (advantageous but not essential).

Competence with Microsoft Office and general computing skills.

Educated to at least A-Level standard; higher qualifications are a plus.

At least five years of hands-on, relevant site experience.

Excellent organisational, planning, and communication skills.

Full UK driving licence.
